WELCOME to the "GRAND OLD TOWN"

The Town of Ellington was formed in 1824.  U.S. Route 62 passes south-east through Ellington and NYS Route 83 passes through the northeast of Town, parallel to Conewango Creek.  The population at the 2010 Census was 1,643.  The Town of Ellington is in the south west corner of Chautauqua County bordering Cattaraugus County on the east.
The Town Hall functions as the center of government for the Town of Ellington.  The main facility houses the office of the Assessor, Town Clerk, Tax Collector, Supervisor, Court Room and Judge's Office, and a Board/Public Meeting Room.
